“The inspiration behind the song is that God almighty. Just God reminding me and everyone in the world that He is always with us and that He is the solution to our problems. I remember I was in a season in my life where I had a lot of rejection within the entertainment industry and just jobs in general. Then I did what I always knew how to do, run back to the Father’s feet and make sure I pray about EVERYTHING. One day I was sleeping and I was singing the chorus to ‘My Solution’ in my dream…and I was woken up by a message sent to me by a producer and it was a beat. I quickly woke up and sang the melody from the dream along with it, it was in sync. I prayed and asked God to lead me through this project and if it was what He wanted me to do next. And here we are, every action I took towards this project has been flowing and working. Praise God!”Ruth Luhasu
If that incredible story doesn’t give you chills, I hope the magnificent arrangement of Ruth Luhasu’s latest single will. It is definitely one for your favourites playlist. Ruth is originally from Congo and was raised in the UK, in Watford, Hertfordshire. My Solution is her latest of three total releases thus far. ‘Steps’ and ‘Naponi Yesu’ make up the rest of her previously released singles. My Solution features Ruth’s brother Isaac Luhasu. The track has a mixture of English and Lingala, which is a beautiful Congolese language.
The beauty in the testimony of Ruth’s song is that God proved to be her solution within a very difficult time of her life. Now, He may not inspire us with lyrics during our dreams as He did Ruth. But He cares for the trouble, trials, and tragedy that you find yourself in today.
When you are running to find a solution, I hope that Ruth’s song and story would inspire you to run to the Source, to our one and only true Solution. In this world there are many temporary solutions, we are constantly tempted and reeled in by them. But the end result often leaves us with a bigger hole in our hungry hearts.
If you’ve been running in endless circles, this song is for you. It is a reminder that I would like to thank Ruth for bringing to our minds. There’s no need to run anymore, wherever you are He’s there with you. Turn to Him in prayer and know Him once again or even for the first time as your faithful Father.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” –
