“Nuisance” was originally just a freestyle I did for a YouTube video. I posted a snippet on both TikTok and Reels and that video has surpassed 27,000 views on Reels alone. A lot of people reached out personally asking me to release it. I felt since the song was also meant as a Houston anthem, I should feature a fellow Houstonian on the track. Ang, who I also collaborated with on “Outta My Mind”, flows melodically over the beat while I go at it bar after bar. The song also is being released on my 21st birthday to help me celebrate the big day. The song has an interesting hook as well as a lot of lyrical gems interwoven in the unique eastern coast beat.”longliveadamariz
The artist behind the single ‘Nuisance’, longliveadamariz, is a Christian rapper from Houston who started writing songs in 2013 and went on to producing in 2017. Her previous releases have accumulated thousands of streams during this year, including her single ‘Nuisance’. She is joined by Ang, who she has collaborated with in the past.
The track is quite the jam, and has one particular phrase that truly highlights it. As Longliveadamariz raps about her musical path, and the goals that she has set out for herself, she anchors it with an important statement.
“I AM ROOTED IN THE WORD, I OBSERVE AND I LEARN”.
What this shows us is that despite wild success or in spite of disappointments, she has her feet firmly planted by the rivers of water. Whether sizzling hot seasons come, or bitter cold times, when you are connected to the Lord, He keeps you through all things. If there is anything we can learn from this track, it is this truth.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit”.Jeremiah 17:7-8
