LaToyah Bless releases brand new song ‘Rise Up’

After receiving global attention with her debut single, ‘Light It Up’, setting the airwaves ablaze with international airplay on radio stations such as BBC 1xtra. In a short space of time, LaToyah Bless has made a huge impact being featured on Premier Gospel’s One To Watch 2022 and recently nominated for Best Reggae/Dancehall Act at The Music Media Platform Awards.

LaToyah Bless is back with yet another hit. Rise Up is the second single released by LaToyah Bless, an upbeat, energetic powerful anthem featuring an irresistible melodic hook over a dancehall-inspired heavy bassline.

LaToyah Bless’ amazing songwriting skills and versatility is at the forefront of Rise Up. “The world is changing all around us and there is no denying the times that we are in. The bible says “For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed”. Now is the time for us as the sons of God to Rise Up! No matter the challenges that we may face, we are of good cheer because through faith we are overcomers and champions. So I wanted to write a song that is full of life that really ministers to the Spirit, a song packed with revelation and the Word of God, building up the listeners faith so that they awake to the Power of God at work on the inside of them”, LaToyah Bless explains.

She continues on, “I want my music to minister to people, bringing people to the knowledge of Christ, while they catch a sweet vibe. In other words, I am here to bring the Good News Revelation mixed with the Sweet Vibrations”.

LaToyah Bless is determined to inject fresh fire into the Dancehall world, as she is currently working on her debut EP.
