Kashmyrrh – Confidential

This song is personal and yet so general because it encompasses something that we all can relate to as Christians in a fast-paced world. It’s a song of hope, of thanksgiving and reminiscing on the path I’ve walked, the one I’m walking and the path I am yet to walk. It’s an eclectic afro-pop song that everyone can vibe to at any time. Doesn’t matter what you’re going through, take it to Jesus, that’s why we have Him. – @kashmyrrh_

I love this song because it speaks about something many Christians know and that is that Christians are not perfect people. But we are people that have matured in Christ. Through the work of God’s Holy Spirit, we are changed and made new.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! -2 Corinthians 5:17

Jesus died for us even though we were sinners, He loves us regardless of how much we have hurt Him and rejected Him. With rejection written all over the pages of our past, rejecting him with our words, our actions, he carried our burdens and He put to death the curse that would eventually kill us. If that is not love then I do not know what is.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:8

God knows you and loves you. Our struggles in the past were not meant to be kept Confidential but it is meant to be something we praise God for and we ought to share our imperfections with those who need to hear it.

It is a testimony of the impossible.
Thank you so much Kashmyrrh for this incredible song. It not only carries powerful words with a God-given voice but it has such an amazing beat. It is going straight on my daily playlist. Thank you for blessing us with your art. All glory be to God for this explosion of talent.
