“Hope Alive” is not your common worship song and for a very good reason. When I imagine someone celebrating the fact that Jesus is alive, I do not imagine a sombre tune but a tune like this to celebrate the fact that Jesus is our living hope.

According to Yemi, ‘Hope Alive’ was inspired by a friend who lost everything but still desired to find hope in a hopeless situation.

Yemi said that in every lifeless situation that he has faced, one thing seems to remain true and that is that God comes through.

The lyrics in this song summarise how Yemi has addressed troubling situations and how he has risen above those hardships. Yemi said:

“I am aware of the disruption that COVID has caused to families worldwide and how easy it is to disbelieve a God called love.”

The song was produced by Top UK Producer, Ian Copeland Green.  Ian is a multi-talented producer, musician, singer/songwriter who has worked with top artists, including Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Lurine Cato, Pharrell Williams, Matrix 2, Noel Robinson, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Fiona Yorke and many more. With a dance theme and a message (lyrics) specifically written to brighten anyone’s mood, this is a pop masterpiece. It reminds us that real hope only comes from God because if He said it, that settles it.

So let us remember our God even in the most challenging times because He is our living hope regardless. God remains the same and every promise He has made will come to pass.

God is faithful, God is love, God is hope, He is justice, He is everything we need.

Thank You Yemi & Ian for the masterpiece you produced for the Christian music world.
