I was keen to share the message of Jesus Christ, as the chorus says, the solution is in Christ, and the Authority is in Christ.
The name of Jesus delivers us and protects us from all situations, as it is said in the second verse, we do our part to know “To have the lamp lit at our feet” namely the bible.Loudgi – The Inspiration Behind the Song
The urban gospel artist Loudgi released his french single ‘My Solution’. Whether you are fluent in French or not, this track is not only a musical treat but is also drips in biblical truths throughout its lyrics.
Two of the main things that he emphasises is how Christ not only has authority but that He is also our solution. If this is true about the character and nature of Jesus (which it is), there is only one response that it should move us to – worship.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him, all things hold together
We can worship God through different means. Whether it be through song or silence. But that which informs our worship is His Word. Through His Word, we get to truly know Him as the solution to our every situation. Just as Loudgi pointed out, as we dig into His Word it begins to shine a light before our path, guiding our steps in the way of wisdom.
Lastly, at the very beginning of this song, he says that we are ‘saved to serve’. It is so simple and yet so transformative. Jesus saved us in order that we might enter into a relationship with the Father again, just as in Eden. He saves us to Himself. He transforms our reason for waking up each morning. He saves us to a purpose on earth – to serve. To serve Him and to serve one another in love. Brother, sister, we have both our solution and purpose in Christ. I’ll leave you with a snippet from Loudgi’s ‘My Solution’ lyrics, be sure to check it out!
When in the night comes oppression. The Name of Jesus puts the pressure on. Far from being an impression. It’s not my option. His blood accomplished the mission. Through Him, I ask for the anointing. This name must capture our attention.Loudgi – La Solution
