Justin has come a long way…

Growing up, his mother was the one who raised him in a Christian environment which is now the strong foundation that started his journey with Jesus Christ.  From song number 1 to number 6 there is Jesus written all over this EP. We just want to appreciate what God is doing through the life of Justin Bieber. So we just thought that we come up here and tell you more about the Jesus Justin Bieber worships.

Here is a quote from the first song Freedom that stood out for us:

The dead resurrected, the Devil tried test it, him lost, Him lose again (mmm), Head bruise again (mm-hmm-hmm), Sweat, blood, tears pon the cross, Did you know He paid the cost for you? – freedom, Justin Bieber

Justin references a profound prophecy in the Bible that is written in Genesis 3: 15

“He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.’

Genesis 3:15

This is the very first announcement of God’s redemptive seed which is Jesus.  The great fall in the garden of Eden is a sign of humanity’s disrupted nature. Sin entered the world in Genesis 3 but even though Adam and Eve failed God on the spot, God made a promise. A redemptive promise that a Son will come and redeem them.

Of course, they expected one of their children to be the redeemer, but only generations later was He actually born.

Jesus died for us, yes, but what you do not know is that you and I were under condemnation. We owed God wages because of our sin, death is the wages of sin.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23

Jesus is God incarnate, God made flesh. He is fully God and fully human, you see we needed a pure and permanent sacrifice to atone for our sins. Jesus became the lamb that would be slaughtered so that those who believe in Him would be free.

Jesus died on your cross, that cross was meant for us but He willingly took our place. When Jesus died there and you believed in Him, He bought you with His life, so every day we live a life that does not belong to us but it belongs to Jesus.

So all we do should be dedicated to Him, all we have should be dedicated to Him. We ought to lead a life that pleases Him, out of the love we have for him.  We do not do good deeds to earn our salvation but works are evidence of the true faith that is within us.

For anyone to come to Christ, they need to acknowledge their sinfulness, yes it is easy to admit it with your words but admitting it with your life and actions is a different situation.

The Jesus you worship should not be a Jesus of your own making. Many people out there worship a Jesus that does not line up with scripture and unfortunately, that is the result of consumerism, we think we can create a Jesus that fits our needs and life when we ought to change our lives to fit His standards because He is the Lord, He is the Master and We are not.

The Object of your faith matters. The Jesus of the Bible should be the object of your faith because He is the one who paid the price. The universe, buddha, your ancestors could not possibly set you free from sin.

It is important to understand God’s word because that is the way He communicates with us, apart from that everything is subjective.

“If you have little knowledge about God and His Word, you will have little faith. If you have great knowledge of God and HIs word, you can potentially have great faith.” – Neil T. Anderson, Victory over darkness

We can’t save ourselves, we need a saviour, We ain’t make ourselves, we need a maker, I keep failin’ myself, – all she wrote, Justin Bieber

Justin is right when he says we cannot save ourselves because we are imperfect it is not possible. We can hardly even keep the 10 commandments found in Exodus 20. Every single one of us has lied before, has coveted. There is only one who hasn’t sinned and that is Jesus. He is the only one who could have been sacrificed.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,   and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him,  and he will make your paths straight” – Proverbs 3:5-6

Cause He’s the reason that I’m still standin’, And even in a pandemic, God is still plannin’, Plannin’ peace, plannin’ joy, plan another day,

Justin Bieber

God is sovereign, This is not a very popular statement. But it merely means that God is in control. God is in control, although the world is falling apart, although things do not go as planned, although there is evil and chaos everywhere. God remains in control. It is not our job to fix everything besides, we really can’t. He has already fixed it through the work of His Son. Jesus will establish His perfect Kingdom again. It will be a new Eden where all will be well. Where He will wipe away every tear. As Christians, we are citizens of this kingdom and on earth, we are truly just passing through, This life we live here only lasts for a short while because we have eternal life in Christ Jesus.

We are heirs in His victory, we are adopted into His family. We were once sons of disobedience and wrath but today we are made new by the blood of Jesus and He calls us by a new name. Chosen, elected, saved and victorious.

Below we have attached Justin Bieber’s testimony for you to go and check out. Also at the top of this article, you will find the full EP on YouTube, let us know what you think.
