Need U is about unashamedly expressing our desire to let God into our lives, understanding his sovereignty is a necessity for living a purpose-filled and holy lifestyle.”

Eddie Clark

This song left me speechless…

I urge you to go and listen to it. Eddie’s words are literally words of someone who is truly in close relationship with God.

Every time the devil send them weapons, we never stressin’

– Need U, Eddie Clark

We are confident because we know that Jesus has overcome the world and He has defeated evil. We have a ever lasting hope that is found in Him and in Him alone.

“It’s all because of You, You made me who I am, a vessel of “I Am” , A new identity in You like You did Abraham, I gotta walk it llike I talk to show this ain’t a scam.”

Need U, Eddie Clark

It’s all because of God. He made us who we are, being born again. The words ‘I Am’ here are majorly symbolic of God’s actual name. He revealed His name for the very first time in the book of Exodus chapter 3 when Moses encountered the burning bush.

“God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.’ And He said ‘Say this to the people of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.” – Exodus 3:14

This God revealed himself. This living, personal God who revealed himself to Abraham and made covenant with him is God who is moving to deliver His people now. The new identity is spoken of throughout the Old Testament and then new. Ezekiel mentions the new heart, the raising of the dry bones to life and Jesus speaks about being born again in John 3. The new identity is that we are no longer of this world but Christians are citizens of the Kingdom of King Jesus Christ. Who brings light, peace and forgiveness of sins.

We no longer walk in our old ways, we deny the old self and put on the new self. The new nature is not pretend. One’s whole being changes, your desires change, your heart yearns after God himself. (Colossians 3:9-10; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 5:16-25)

I’ve been tryna find a way to be discrete, but I ain’t even ’bout to front right now, Even though I got my baggage there’s a reason why I’m still? Your love right now, When I confessed I need You, that’s the best I felt, I need You by my side when I can’t help myself, ”

Eddie Clark – Need U

One does not get hit by a 18 wheeler truck and stands up and walks unchanged. Your encounter with Jesus Christ leaves you a different person that does not hide. It will be evident to all those around you. When we confess our sin to Jesus, we lay it at His feet and we are free…
